Dala’s other favourite games from the last Decade.

January 21, 2010

After the last few days I am beat for writing so instead of a well structured, intelligently written post here is a list of honourable mentions, games that just missed out on my decade top ten list. No descriptions, just names.

Because I’m lazy.

Advance Wars 2

The World Ends With You

Timesplitters: Future Perfect

Conker’s Bad Fur Day

Street Fighter IV

Wii Sports

No More Heroes

Trials HD

Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations

Oddworld: Strangers Wrath

Deus Ex (Happy now Dave?)

The Sims 2

Unreal Tournament 2k4

Rock Band 2

Civilization 4 (Happy Tam?)

House of the Dead: Overkill

Team Fortress 2

  1. SO glad you mentioned sims 2 and not sims 3… 2 was most definitely the best ๐Ÿ˜€
    and yay peggle!x

    • Peggle… So much time lost to Peggle…

Brilliant game, beats PvZ due to its instant playability ^_^.

  2. Needs more strategy games ๐Ÿ˜›

But yay for advance wars at least. I’m guessing AW 2 since it’s more balanced than DS and Days of Ruin is shite with crap sprinkles?

    • More balanced, best characters, and War Room. The biggest let down in Days of Ruin is the lack of War Room, kills the extensive re playability dead.

I considered putting Dawn of War 2 in I have to say, but to be honest I’ve not played the ‘best’ of the genre, Civ or CoH for example. So I added Civ on your recommendation.

  3. Good Call on the deus ex ๐Ÿ˜› Now you just need to actually play it ๐Ÿ˜›

Also, as beth said, sims 2 was better than sims 3, it just had more soul and humour to it.

  4. Yeah I’m happy now ๐Ÿ˜›
