The Health Concerns of Prolonged Gaming.

Computer games are thrilling, compelling, sometimes addictive, and in almost every case games are long, drawn out affairs. This means that people who enjoy games tend to sit and play them for a long time which comes with far more health issues than those associated with the normal television couch potato, mainly thanks to gaming’s unique properties to engage their audience.

The most interesting research in this area was presented by Dr. Clive Chandler, a games researcher at Staffordshire University, during a conference in 2009 in which he describes the effects of the recently discovered hormone Cortisol.
